Top Job Web Sites

During the current economic crisis, "Retrenchment" is the first option for the corporates to cut their expenses.

By downsizing the management, it doubling or even tripling up the workloads to those that willing to do so for the company. For them, it does not really matter as they have a job with an income, which is the basic need for their daily life.

Besides, many employers are looking for quality workers (right workers) to fit into the right task to maximize the value of the salary paid to them.

This is when the Job Portal plays a role to help both Employer and Employee to meet their requirements. A good Job Portal studies and analyzes to its best of the requirements of the Employers, and the qualification of the Employees to fit into their jobs.

The following are two of the Top Job Web Sites available on the Internet which has been given the titles by PC Magazine and Applicant.com:

Police Road Block: 26/02/2009, 1.36am, MRR2

Hi there,

It's regarding the police road block again here.

Date : 26 February 2009, Thursday
Time : 1.36am
Spot : MRR2 heading Sg Besi after the Taman Connaught exit (as usual)
Speed Limit : 80KMH
My Speed : 75KMH
Driving Lane : Right Lane

Please refer to my earlier post with the title "Malaysian Traffic Road Block".

I am heading my way back from Cheras to Serdang and they stopped me at the same spot as mentioned in my previous post regarding this block spot.

The policeman that instructed me aside wore his name tag and I saw it was "ROSLY" (not sure whether it is the real name tag).

Another policeman approached me, asking how fast I drove. During that time, I had a paper and a pen on my hand. He quickly asked me "what am I going to jot down?" once he noticed, and I told him "no, it is only my note".

I told him I did not speed at all. He asked me to show my license (as usual), but I refused. I told him I did not speed. Straight away he raised up his voice and demand my license, but I refused again.

I asked for his ID before showing him my license. You know what he did?

HE SHOW ME HIS GUN ON HIS WAIST INSTEAD OF THE ID
(another policeman was stunned at the back looking at us)

He shouted at me for my license. I insisted to see his ID.

When I repeated again that I did not speed, he told me they are not looking at only speeding.

He then kicked my door and leave me alone.

I drove away.

Guys, what is that mean?

Don't forget, everyone of us has the right to ask for his ID before showing him our Identity Card or License.

I would be more than happy to be cooperative if they followed the procedure (I mean if they ABLE to follow the procedure)

Good luck to you guys.

Boeing 787: Possible to repeat the same success of 747?

The New Boeing 787
(We delay for the best of our clients) - suggested new tag line... :)

Boeing has introduced its newly designed business toy as the plan to stay ahead of the aviation industry.

This aircraft is expected to carry between 210 to 330 passengers with its selling point of improved fuel-efficiency which plays a major role of an airline's operation cost.

This immediately captured the attention from some major airline operators such as All Nippon Airways, Qantas and Air Canada. A total orders of about 900 units have been received from airline companies worldwide.

However, the roll out of this aircraft has been postponed for 4 times now. Major problem that causes the delay is the overweight of the aircraft. The following describe the delays:

Delay 1 (5th September 2007):
Duration - 3 months delay
Reason - Shortage of fasteners and incomplete software

Delay 2 (10th October 2007):
First Flight - 3 months delay
First Delivery - 6 months delay
Reason - Problems with foreign and domestic supply chain, lack of documentations from overseas suppliers and continue delay of flight guidance software

As a result, the 787 program manager has been replaced.

Delay 3 (16th January 2008):
First Flight - 3 months delay
First Delivery - early 2009

Reason - Insufficient progress from suppliers

Delay 4 (9th April 2008):
First Flight - 4th quarter of 2008
First Delivery - 15 months delay, 3rd quarter of 2009
Reason - Did not announced

Delay 5 (11th December 2008):
First Flight - At least 6 months delay, 2nd quarter of 2009
First Delivery - Summer 2010
R
eason - Incorrect installation of some of the structurally important fasteners

Boeing 787's main feature was its light-weight design using composite materials including carbon fiber which made extra long flight possible (14,800 to 15,700 km: enough to cover the route from New York City to Taipei).

The following shows the specifications for 787s:

Formula 1 Driver that did not qualified for 3 races in a season!

Ever heard a Formula 1 driver that did not qualified for races 3 times in a season? And worse still, it is because of the 107% Rule. Yes.. this is the man! That once made Malaysian proud. -.-"

What is 107% Rule in Formula 1?
This is a rule introduced in 1996 to prevent completely uncompetitive cars to take part in a race due to the situation reflects a damaging image to the Formula 1 standards and creates unnecessary risk of accidents.

Our proud Malaysian driver has been disqualified with the reason above in the year 2002 at San Marino, Great Britain and Germany.

And still remember how he got the Super License?

He has been tested and considered by the FIA officers with the support of Paul Stoddart (Minardi's Team Boss) during that time for a very long period.

This is due to his entry to the team can bring in funds and sponsors (Magnum 4D & Go KL) which is very important to the smallest team in Formula 1 while they are in the dead or alive situation.

He has been granted the Super License at the end, but disgraces Malaysian in the Championship.

I still remember I have a penpal in Finland and she likes Formula 1 a lot. When I told her that I supported Mika Hakkinen and Kimi Raikkonen (both from Finland), she replied that she knew the Malaysian driver too! -.-"

Quickly, I switched the topic..............

Air Asia Never Crash! Many misleading posts!

We received many emails and saw many blogs saying that Air Asia did crashed a plane and it was covered by the Government from publishing the news through medias.

Well, they are all unreliable news!

I still remember clearly when I read the news from Newspaper. Now I found out the truth and sources to prove for the innocent Air Asia.

The only minor accident of this causes so much speculations.

It was on 7 November 2004, when a Air Asia's Boeing 737 (Flight AK106 or Flight Number 104) was landing on the runway of Kota Kinabalu International Airport.

Due to the bad weather, the plane skidded off the runway and causes injury of 2 passengers out of 100 onboard.

It is only a minor accident. The plane resumed flight after minor repairs.

Please do not worry as AirAsia is a new Airline Company with clean records. Futhermore, they replaced all the old airplanes with its brand new Airbus 320-200 and Airbuss 330 for longer haul flight.

Malaysian Traffic Road Blocks

Malaysian Traffic Police on duty.

Just wanna share some experience of mine to all of you. I am a heavy driver (means I drove around everyday) in KL, from day to night.

I have been stopped by the traffic police at least more than 10 times, and I guess you guys should know how I settle it (if you are a Malaysian!).

There is a standard route for me everyday and night, MRR2 from Cheras to Sg Besi. This is due to my girlfriend live in Cheras and myself in Serdang, which I will normally use this route daily. At most of the time, we went out until late night, and I will send her back home around 12.30am midnight. After that, I will drive back to Serdang alone.

Guess what? I can expect where is the road blocks normally appear along that highway:
  1. From the direction of Cheras to Sg Besi, along the downhill where you will pass by the Taman Connaught exit at your left, there is a big turn to the right and they are just at the blind spot after that turn. After you followed the turn, you will see them there to get you (if you are lucky enough). *Speed Limit: 80KMH, if you are on 5th gear, you will easily reach 90+KMH even if you did not step on your throttle.
  2. If it is not no.1, you are not safe yet! Continue your journey, after passed by Tasik Selatan LRT flyover, you will see a Shell station on your left. There is another big turn to the left. They are just at the blind spot of the turn. After you followed the turn, you will see them there to get you (if you are still lucky enough). *Speed Limit: 80KMH, if you are on 5th gear, you will easily reach 90+KMH even if you did not step on your throttle.
NOW, LET ME SHARE MY WEIRD EXPERIENCE TO EVERYONE HERE~!!!
  1. As mentioned, I use this route every day and night.
  2. I have been caught for speeding more than 5 times at these spots.
  3. The weird feeling starts this time. I did not notice my speed along the way, so I guess I might overspeed. Dang! They stopped me and asked me how I am going to settle. I am so fedup and ask the Encik to open the summons. He keep asking, you really want? I kept silent. Then he asked me to go without issuing the summon to me.
  4. I knew where they are, so nowadays I did not speed at all along the way.
  5. I kept my speed at 70KMH. (Speed limit: 80KMH)
  6. Yes! The first time I did so, I did not get caught.
  7. 2nd Time: I drove 70KMH along the way, I saw there is no car on the fast lane, I tried to cut out and maintain my speed at this fast lane, DANG! They stopped me! I told the Encik that I did not speed, he replied: "OK lah, you go, I haven't get your speed yet too!"
  8. 3rd Time: I did the same as no.6, DANG! They stopped me again!! I told the Encik the same, this time this Encik still want face, replied angrily: "You speed at KM35.5 with the speed 95KMH, now you go, next time make sure you don't do that again!!!"
This is so weird as they STOPPED NEARLY ALL THE CARS AT THE FAST LANE ONLY, including myself, even though I did not speed.

Doesn't it should be a proof of speeding before stopping the cars and issue summons?

Why they did not give me the summon even though I asked him to? They should be able to issue summons if they are ON DUTY!

I HAVE MY ANSWER IN MY MIND.

HOW ABOUT YOU?
